Help Center Settings
The settings area lets you configure every aspect of a Help Center project, from basic identity information to advanced deployment options.

Select a help center from the sidebar to open its settings.
Main Menu

The left sidebar lists all your Help Center projects under the Knowledge section. Selecting a project (like ClickUp) opens its dedicated settings panel. Each project row displays a small icon, the knowledge base name, and quick-access icons for settings and external navigation.
Help Center Settings Navigation

Once you select a project, a secondary sidebar appears with all available configuration categories. Settings are organized into logical groups:
Knowledge Base Settings: Contains foundational configuration options.
- Domain setup: Configure custom domains for your Help Center URL
- Authentication: Manage sign-in requirements and access control
- Add-ons: Enable or disable additional features and integrations
- General: Edit the Help Center's name, description, and URL slug
Branding: Controls visual appearance.
- Theming: Customize colors, fonts, and overall look
Content: Manages Help Center content features.
- Glossary: Define terms that appear throughout your documentation
- Translations: Configure language settings and localization
- Customization: Adjust content display preferences
- Quick Links: Set up shortcut links for easy navigation
Discovery: Handles search and findability.
- AI Search: Configure AI-powered search functionality
Deployment: Manages technical publishing options.
- Codebase: Access code-related deployment settings
Advanced: Contains sensitive operations.
- Danger Zone: Access irreversible actions like deleting the Help Center
General Settings Page

The General page displays when you select it from Project Settings. It contains two main sections:
Identity: Set the public-facing name and description that readers see. The Name field holds your Help Center's title, while the Description field accepts a brief summary of what the Help Center covers.
URL: Define the unique slug used in your Help Center's web address. The Slug field shows the customizable portion, followed by the fixed domain suffix (like .happysupport.help). Changing the slug moves your Help Center to a new address, so the current URL displays below the field for reference.
